American’s Greatest Race is in southern California and will be cycling right through Palmdale, California!

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is the major local sponsor of the Stage 6 Start of the AMGEN tour.  On Friday, May 18th, at Marie Kerr Park, the cyclists will be taking off on Stage 6 of the race.

Featuring world-class and Olympic athletes, this free event will take place at Marie Kerr Park beginning at 8:30 AM.  The public is encouraged to arrive early for a prime spot along the starting line, where they will be able to get autographs from many of cycling’s greatest athletes. Attendees will also enjoy the festival area which will feature a variety of displays showcasing our rich aerospace history, Official Amgen Tour of California merchandise, Palmdale Regional Medical Center booth, giveaways and information, food vendors, and the team parking area - always a fan favorite.
